Navigating the future of design: How comedia Adapts to Changing Trends and Technology

“As much as ChatGPT can do, there’s so much it can’t touch. It might share recipes, but it can’t cook meals. It can make a chore chart, but it can’t wash the dishes or take out the trash.”

Kate Cray, The Atlantic, “Chat GPT Will Change Housework”

Some things only experience teaches us. That’s where design agencies like comedia come in. We’ve worked alongside the unpredictable nature of humans and groups for a long time. Our specialized, nuanced skill sets come from experience and education, helping us separate the uncanny valley from the real.

The challenge for agencies: jobs and work will have to evolve, and agencies with it. How we spend time working will change. It’s a balancing act: being aware of the common pitfalls and potential misuses, while building our best work for tomorrow.

Good taste is a human-only quality. Welcome, robots, to the conundrum of the artist - once you’ve put your best work out into the world, you can’t control how people respond to it.

When new technology gains popularity, there’s always interesting work to be done, new problems to solve, and markets to conquer. Our small, nimble team has the courage to be creative, and the experience to push boundaries with emerging platforms.

It’s our job to pick up speed with changing times and adjust accordingly. We’ve witnessed many sea changes to development processes, customer expectations, and ways of communicating before. (A lot of us started our work journey on dialup.) We’re ready to see what we can build next. Won’t you join us?
